Over time this page will be updated with more links to useful resources and sources of support for young women in the UK with breast cancer.

Younger Breast Cancer Network UK
YBCN is a Facebook based support network for young women, in the UK and Ireland, who have had a diagnosis of breast cancer at age 45 or under. Over 1400 women have joined YBCN since it was launched in October 2012. As well as this public page, there is a network of closed, invite-only chat groups, namely: main hub, moving on, living with inoperable/secondary breast cancer, research chat, pregnancy (for those diagnosed during/just after pregnancy or those becoming pregnant after treatment) , fertility chat and also 10 regional groups (covering all of the UK and Ireland plus an ex-pat group). YBCN also have a group for discussing end of life for those women needing a safe place to explore these issues.
Posts in the closed groups can only be seen by other members of that group, not by the Facebook world at large! (However, the public page is visible to the public generally.)
To find out more and join the YBCN closed chat groups go to

YBCN is also on Twitter at @YBCN_UK.
